Glow Time

Hey Beautiful! It's been a minute( or two ha lol). If you follow me on any social media-I took what most millennials would consider a detrimental( I laughed obnoxiously typing that because why so serious?) social media cleanse. It seemed so guilty to do at first, because I'm so invested in my blog and you my friends.
Honestly, life was throwing me so many curveballs, I decided it would be okay to take some time off and get reacquainted with Karina . Life isn't a race, I realized my wants were at war with my needs and what I truly needed was peace of mind.
Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, because I truly missed you guys!

Let's delve into my absolute favorite thing SELF CARE. It's taken me awhile to get back to my hardcore regimen of eating really well, taking quiet moments for myself, and just truly embracing  my being as a WOMAN. I love me, I look forward to stripping naked and marveling at myself  flaws and all. I smother my whole body with either mango or glycerin oil since it gives my skin the smoothness and glow I like + I also suffer from hyperpigmentation and those tend to fade blemishes naturally. I follow by dancing around my place playing with my hair-massaging my scalp with an oil of my choice ( tea tree or peppermint both are great for stimulation) giving them some love with Miss Jessies Multicultural Curl. I lastly take a moment to dabble a little Aveda calming oil on my neck and wrist to help me distress. I intentionally dedicate days of the week to loving on my body and creating great things( I look forward to sharing those things with you guys very soon!) . I do not make any excuses or exceptions to this - It has made me create boundaries I didn't know I needed, understand the importance of consistency and let go of things that no longer served me. A small change, that came with a different kind of peace. I am more confident, gentle, and absolutely aware of my Sol's glow than ever before.

P.S. I urge you to delve within, make time to pick up a book-hold a vibe, become a master in a skill, really pause for just a moment, because the reality is you have time (despite what social media makes you feel and I promise the new Instagram algorithms will still be their to annoy you lol!).You don't owe anyone anything, BUT you do owe yourself the very best you have to offer. Tap into that. Start by being more honest and gentle with yourself- you are more powerful than you think. Plus, I am wholeheartedly routing for you!
